LungBloom, a trailblazer in its first cycle at Cyprus Seeds, is reshaping personalized respiratory care. It develops solutions to help pharmaceutical companies conduct preclinical trials that genuinely reflect population diversity. This approach aims to reduce biases in cohort selection, cut down the costs linked to unsuccessful trials and lead to more precisely designed drugs.

Its innovation extends to customizing inhalation therapy instructions based on individual respiratory morphometrics. This personalization promises more effective treatments, better control of chronic diseases, reduced exacerbations, and improved quality of life for patients. Additionally, it lessens the financial strain on both patients and the healthcare system and minimizes environmental impact through reduced waste.

LungBloom is also pioneering in personalized lung diagnostics for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), introducing a low-cost, non-invasive diagnostic tool with ultra-low radiation, suitable for pulmonologist offices. This technology enhances current spirometry by replacing generic reference values with personalized ones, improving early-stage COPD detection. Early diagnosis leads to prompt intervention, better disease management, reduced patient suffering, and overall economic savings at both personal and societal levels.
