Identify

SCIENTIFIC INNOVATION

We explore groundbreaking academic research born in the labs of public and private universities, Centers of Excellence and research institutions in Cyprus. In collaboration with the MIT Deshpande Center, we identify, evaluate, and select a minimum of 5 projects in every cycle of our program.

Nurture

SCIENTIFIC INNOVATION

The selected projects join an 18-month program which offers grants, mentoring, training, and networking opportunities with the industry and investors in Cyprus and abroad. Here, we essentially nurture academic teams, helping them take their ideas from the laboratory to the market.

Grow

SCIENTIFIC INNOVATION

We help our grantees to protect their intellectual property (IP), to do customer exploration and exploitation, to present with impact, and to pitch with success to private investors. Our main success is the changing of the mindset of academics to be more entrepreneurial.

Commercialize

SCIENTIFIC INNOVATION

Teams from each cycle committed to commercializing their research can continue for a second cycle with Cyprus Seeds. The spinoffs resulting from each cycle are given the opportunity to join the egg enter grow go accelerator program in Greece.
