The official opening ceremony of the ‘’PHAETHON Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence for Intelligent, Efficient and Sustainable Energy Solutions marked the commencement of this promising teaming project on October 11th, at the University of Cyprus.
The transformation will be pursued through the partnership of UCY-FOSS, with the Technical University of Denmark, the University of Groningen and Cyprus Seeds.
PHAETHON will be the first innovative, autonomous Centre of Excellence for green and renewable energy in Cyprus, aiming to attract scientists from all over Europe.
Cyprus Seeds will be the innovation partner in the project, along with Skylab Innovation Hub, the advanced innovation partners. Providing innovation services, both will cooperate in the development of an Innovation Hub within the Phaethon Centre of Exellence, offering networking activities for the creation of a regional energy Research and Innovation ecosystem.
