iQ3Solar Ltd, which resulted from the research of the SOLEX project of the University of Cyprus, offers innovative early detection of faults in photovoltaic systems.
The iQ3Solar platform and its dedicated and patented degradation sensors are game changers for PV system operators as they offer the operators unsupervised monitoring and decision recommendations for the PV park, minimising human error.
Data from existing equipment, satellites, and proprietary sensors are taken through a series of proprietary AI-ML algorithms to present the health and performance of PV assets and insights on optimising PV parks to the operators and the owners. With iQ3Solar, PV system operators can optimise their field operations and increase revenue.

SPUN OUT FROM THE CYPRUS SEEDS DIMEC PROJECT – 2022

GYNETRONICS Ltd offers a new diagnostic tool for direct in-vivo monitoring of the endometrial cavity.
90 million couples resort to fertility treatment every year because they have difficulty conceiving. Only about half of these will succeed, despite up to spending $100,000. Current fertility treatment techniques rely on the morphology of the uterus and hormones to identify if the conditions are right for implantation.
The DIMEC project, from the University of Cyprus, conducted research for a new medical device, the Electro-utero-graph (EUG), which allows the recording of electrical signals from within the uterus in a simple, pain-free method, by inserting patented electrodes within the endometrial cavity.
This device monitors uterine contractility, in the same way that the Electro-cardio-graph (ECG) monitors cardiac health.
