Cyprus Seeds brings to Cyprus Karen Golmer, for a 2-day-workshop hosted by The Cyprus Institute in Nicosia.

The workshop will be focused on Market Exploitation and Discovery. Ms Karen Golmer offers the same workshop at the MIT Deshpande Center for Technology Innovation and is considered one of the most important areas to receive training if you are interested to commercialize your research.

Karen Golmer, is the Innovation Manager of the MIT Deshpande Center Grant and Catalyst Programs. She directs the grant selection process and guides project teams on their path to commercialization. Before joining the MIT Deshpande Center for Technology Innovation, she was instrumental in advising technology startups to find their way, especially in the area of business and market development.

Day 1:  Why customer discovery?/What is your value proposition?/who is your customer?

  • Exercise- in teams with template, noting assumptions that will need to be validated, who do you need to interview to validate your assumptions

  • Set up for day two- refine templates and start the list of people to interview and what you want to learn
