LungBloom’s emerging technology represents a potential breakthrough in the battle against Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), a silent killer causing millions of global fatalities annually. By utilising an advanced AI-based pipeline and just two chest X-rays, LungBloom delivers increased diagnostic precision, providing real-time, personalised feedback that enables early detection of COPD. It’s easily deployable, integrating seamlessly into existing healthcare systems, and cost-effective, helping to alleviate the substantial economic burden that late-stage COPD places on patients and healthcare systems alike. As individual health risks associated with environmental pollutants vary greatly, LungBloom’s approach to personalised lung screening marks a crucial advancement in preventive healthcare.
