This project aims to develop and market a novel device that will significantly enhance
research on metastasis and allow anti-metastatic drug screening via endpoint assays and
large-scale screens, and also be uniquely compatible with live imaging microscopy, which
allows precise quantification of cancer cell metastatic behaviour. This device will closely
mimic several aspects of the tumour microenvironment far better than any existing assay
or device found in the market or published literature.
